The Golden Stallion background

The Golden Stallion

Trigger, a palomino mare, is suspected of being involved in a diamond smuggling operation when a smuggler is killed while trying to transport the precious gems across the border from Mexico.

In this action-packed western, a group of smugglers use a cleverly designed palomino mare's shoe to transport diamonds across the border from Mexico. When one of the smugglers is killed, the sheriff mistakenly blames Trigger, a loyal horse of Roy. To save his beloved horse from being destroyed, Roy confesses and is sent to jail. Meanwhile, the smugglers acquire Trigger and train him to carry out their illegal activities. Later, Roy is released from jail and uses his new foal, Trigger Jr., who was fathered by the palomino mare, to help capture the diamond smugglers.
