The Gal Who Took the West

A woman disguises herself as an opera singer to secure a journey to the West, inadvertently sparking a bitter rivalry between two cousins.

In 1890s Arizona, the O'Hara family patriarch, General Michael O'Hara, builds an opera house and brings in a beautiful but tone-deaf opera singer, Lillian Marlowe, who becomes the object of affection for his two handsome and romantic nephews, Lee and Grant. As tensions rise between the two young men, the family patriarch tries to keep them from killing each other, while Lillian is torn between her love for both cousins. The situation escalates until Lillian announces her final choice for husband at a family meeting, saving the day with a clever trick.
