A desperate mother turns to McCall after discovering her daughter's husband has a gun, but he's initially reluctant to help until he witnesses the husband's suspicious behavior. As McCall delves deeper, he becomes convinced the man is a terrorist and contacts the authorities, only to learn they're working with a former terrorist who has since become a priest - a man McCall has a personal vendetta against, making cooperation difficult.
