Two prisoners, one with a pending release and the other with an earlier parole date, form an unlikely friendship in prison. The soon-to-be-released inmate has been locked up for a daring heist that remains unsolved, with a large sum of money still at large. The earlier paroled inmate uses his time wisely, extracting intimate details about his fellow prisoner's personal life to assume his identity and get to the stolen loot before his cellmate can.
