A New York City detective and his partner are on the verge of a big case when they apprehend a male hooker trying to sell stolen jewels. The hooker reveals a planned heist at the Heritage Gallery, leading the detectives to a beautiful young woman who works there. She is questioned and eventually gives herself up, agreeing to help the detectives catch the thieves. However, their leads turn into dead ends as their beautiful accomplice uses double deception to evade them, leading them on a wild goose chase from New York to London.
