The Daydreamer

A collection of beloved fairytales by Hans Christian Andersen, featuring timeless stories such as "The Little Mermaid", "The Emperor's New Clothes", "Thumbelina", and "The Garden of Paradise".

In 1801 Odense, Denmark, a teenage boy named Chris dreams of escaping his poor cobbler father's fate. With guidance from The Sandman, Chris embarks on a journey to find the Garden of Paradise, where he believes all knowledge can be found. Along the way, he encounters fantastical creatures, including a Little Mermaid, an Emperor, a lost duckling, and Thumbelina, and faces various misadventures. His quest is driven by the desire to unlock the secrets of the universe, but The Sandman serves as a moral compass, teaching Chris that the journey is just as important as the destination.
