A group of soldiers lands on Isla Damas, only to be brutally killed by genetically-engineered Komodo dragons. Two survivors, Hanson and Jason, search for others and stumble upon Rebecca, the scientist's daughter, who helps them escape the island. However, their quest for survival is threatened by a group of thieves who flee to the island after a casino heist and a mysterious force that turns people into zombie-like creatures after contact with the dragons. As the group fights for their lives, they must also confront the sinister plans of the project Catalyst, led by Foster, who refuses to rescue them due to their knowledge of his deadly experiment.
