Eddie Krumble, a down-to-earth professional audience member, travels with his best friend Chris to infomercial studios, cheering for products and asking softball questions to make a living. He's content with his anonymity, using it as an excuse to visit his secret crush, Judy, a cashier at a small gas station. However, when he catches the eye of famous talk show host Jayme Stillerman, Eddie becomes an overnight sensation.
