A nuclear waste storage facility in rural Australia suffers a catastrophic leak following an earthquake, threatening to contaminate the groundwater for hundreds of miles. An engineer, badly injured in the accident, tries to warn the public but is thwarted by his self-serving boss who prioritizes covering up the incident over saving thousands of lives.
