During World War II, a group of 20,000 Yugoslav partisans, led by Tito, are trapped by a massive Axis force of 120,000 soldiers in the Bosnian mountains, and they must use all their skills and cunning to escape and regroup.

The Battle of Sutjeska, known as the "fifth offensive", was the hardest and most tragic battle led by Yugoslav partisans in World War II.
