Millie Blake, a high school soccer star, feels like an outsider among her popular friends. After intervening in a fight between Andy Wellick, a lesbian on the asexual spectrum, and another student, they're both sentenced to community service at a local nursing home. Initially, they clash, but their tension gives way to friendship as they learn more about each other. As Millie's bond with Andy deepens, she musters the courage to reveal her true self to her friends and family, exploring self, sexuality, and community in this coming-of-age LGBTQ+ film.
