A middle-aged man, Mr. Badii, is on the verge of suicide and desperately seeks someone to help him. Despite already preparing his own grave, he needs someone to bury him once he completes the act. He approaches a Kurd soldier, an Afghan seminarian, but they both decline his request. It isn't until he meets a Turkish taxidermist, who has a sick son and has previously attempted suicide himself, that he finds someone willing to assist him.
