A former partner of Roy's father, Judge Kirby, is being blackmailed into releasing outlaws, prompting Roy to rush to his aid. Upon arrival, Roy mistakenly believes he's being mistaken for one of the outlaws and decides to stay, assuming the identity of the outlaw to uncover the truth behind the trouble in town.
