In a rough Boston neighborhood, three 14-year-old friends, Ty, Hector, and Bao, face daily threats from a gang of older troublemakers. When they fight back and steal from the gang, the gang's leaders vow to kill them. Desperate for protection, the friends turn to a local drug dealer, but their situation only grows more precarious. Amidst the violence and poverty, one of the friends finds a glimmer of hope at a community center, where he's recruited by a quiet leader. Can they find a way out of their desperate circumstances?
