Andrew Garrod, an Ivy League professor emeritus, takes Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to Rwanda, where he directs the play with Rwandan college students from both Hutu and Tutsi backgrounds in Kigali.

A feature-length documentary follows an Ivy League professor as he produces a Rwandan adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, featuring college students from both Hutu and Tutsi backgrounds. The production takes place 20 years after the 1994 genocide that claimed the lives of 1,000,000 Tutsis.
