In the Antelope Valley, a group of happy Native Americans live in harmony until the town selectmen, motivated by the discovery of silver, seek to occupy their land. They hire rogue Native Americans and Chico to stir up trouble, hoping to provoke the army into forcibly removing the tribe and claiming the valley for themselves. However, Father Sullivan and the new Indian Agent, Eddie, are determined to stand up for the rights of the Native Americans, despite the lack of support from others.
