Rockin' in the Rockies background

Rockin' in the Rockies

Rusty Williams leaves his cousin Shorty in charge of his ranch while he's away at college, but Shorty is more interested in pursuing his prospecting dreams and seeks investors in town, starting at the Wagon Wheel Cafe.

A group of prospectors, including Shorty, Curly, and Larry, attempt to raise funds for their mining venture by convincing a couple of vagrants to back their scheme. Meanwhile, a singing duo, June and Betty, are persuaded to join the group at a ranch, where they become embroiled in a series of comedic misadventures. The group's efforts ultimately lead to the discovery of a valuable mineral, "Vanadanite," and a successful audition for a Broadway producer, securing their spot in his Diamond Circle in New York.
