Tex Regan arrives at the Crane ranch, where he confronts Blackie and Pete, who are trying to burn it down. Tex drives them off, but is then accused of working with the notorious bandit Pablo. Tex sets out to clear his name by investigating the true identity of the outlaw behind the recent crimes. Along the way, he uncovers a surprising twist: the real culprit is none other than Jim Bannister, the leader of a rival ranch.
