When a young woman is murdered after a disappointing date with a shy man named Mitch, he becomes the prime suspect. Despite being released on bail, Mitch is closely watched by a private investigator hired by the mayor, who is determined to prove Mitch's guilt. However, it soon becomes clear that someone is trying to kill Mitch and a prostitute named Sarah, who has been seen with him. As the body count rises, it becomes apparent that a corrupt cop is framing Mace, a former police officer, for the crimes.
