Private-Detective Dennis O'Brien gets entangled with a gang that uses a fixed wrestling match to orchestrate a murder. Meanwhile, he tries to dissuade a convict from attempting to escape from Alcatraz, only to mistakenly identify another man as the convict and face charges for a murder he didn't commit.
