In the small town of Coyote Gulch, a notorious gang is determined to prevent the railroad from arriving. To take down the gang, Banker Wingate enlists the help of a skilled gunslinger named Thunderbolt, who has a personal stake in the mission after falling for Judy Lane. Thunderbolt successfully ousts the gang, but his triumph is short-lived as he's soon captured by the gang just as they disrupt a ceremony honoring the railroad president.
