Trigger Mallory, a notorious gang leader, is about to be released from prison. However, Bill Carson notices their uncanny resemblance and convinces the Warden to keep Mallory behind bars. Bill then assumes Mallory's identity, successfully deceiving both the gang and Jessie, Mallory's girlfriend. But Trigger manages to escape and returns to uncover the ruse, leading to Bill's imprisonment.
