Once Upon a Time in Tibet

The US Army airlifts supplies to China through the treacherous Himalayas during the Second Sino-Japanese War, and a romance blossoms between an American pilot and a Tibetan girl who rescues him after his plane crashes.

American pilot Robert Smith crashes in Tibet during a World War II mission to aid China against Japanese forces. He's taken in by a tribe where he's perceived as a "monster" due to his fair hair. The tribe's "cursed woman", Yongcho, is tasked with caring for him and sending him away once he recovers. As they navigate their harsh environment, they learn about each other and themselves, ultimately forming a bond that allows them to fulfill their destiny.
