In this comedy, the Stooges are mistaken for suspects in an armed robbery, but after passing a lie detector test, they're cleared and return to their jobs at a cafe. However, when one of the real robbers shows up at the cafe, the Stooges recognize him and, with the help of their friend Gladys, track him to a spooky country house where the gang is hiding out. The Stooges must then rescue Gladys from the clutches of the bad guys.

The Stooges stumble upon an armed robbery and are mistakenly accused by the police. After clearing their names through a lie detector test, they return to their cafe jobs, only to have one of the real robbers walk in, revealing their connection to the crime.
