Norman Oppenheimer is a Jewish consultant who makes a living as a fixer, connecting people in American-Israeli business and politics. Despite his shyster ways, he somehow manages to build a reputation by making false claims and using untruthful stories to gain people's trust. He convinces one person of his fabricated tales, which leads to a significant connection and eventually makes him the talk of the town. However, as he gains more exposure, he risks being exposed as a fraud, threatening to destroy his fragile network.
