Kaoru, a young girl with Xeroderma Pigmentosum, dreams of becoming a musician, but her condition makes her vulnerable to the sun's rays. She spends her days writing songs and singing at night, but is forced to avoid the sun's exposure. One day, Koji, a surfer, discovers her talent and takes her to Yokohama to perform. Despite their connection, Kaoru is hesitant to pursue a relationship due to her condition. As her disease progresses, Kaoru's fingers become immobilized, threatening her ability to play the guitar and pursue her passion.
