Eddy, a village workshop owner, and Eni, his partner, face disapproval from Eni's father who wants her to marry a wealthy bachelor. Eddy convinces him to allow their marriage by promising to go on Hajj and marry Eni within a year. However, Eddy's plan is put in jeopardy when he discovers the long wait times for Hajj. He turns to a shady travel agent, selling his workshop to take an instant route. But upon arriving in Jakarta, Eddy realizes he's been tricked.
