Mexican gunfighter Dave Robles takes on the role of sheriff after the previous lawman resigns, but his newfound position doesn't guarantee respect from the town's elite. Despite his popularity with the town's rougher crowd, Robles' reputation suffers as he begins to take his job seriously.
