Love Is a Headache

Famed Broadway actress Carlotta Lee is struggling professionally and financially after a string of flops. She's aided by Peter Lawrence, a powerful gossip columnist, who uses his platforms to help her career. When Peter learns about the orphaned children of his childhood friend, Buckteeth O'Toole, he tries to find them a new home. Jimmy Slattery, Charlie's press agent, suggests a publicity stunt: Charlie adopting the children. Charlie is unaware until surrounded by press and the children. As she bonds with the kids, she develops a change of heart and truly wants to be their mother.
