Lightnin' Bill Carson background

Lightnin' Bill Carson

As a lawman, I captured the notorious "Pecos Kid" and saw him brought to justice, but as I reflect on the trial and execution, I begin to question whether the Kid was truly guilty of the crimes he was accused of.

A group of outlaws, led by Stone, rob a stagecoach, and in the chaos, Breed Hawkins kills Deputy Bates. To cover his tracks, Stone gets a drunk Pecos Kid to take the blame. However, Bill Carson discovers Breed's guilt, but it's too late, as the posse and Sheriff have already lynched the Kid. The Kid's brother seeks revenge by killing the posse and Sheriff, prompting Bill to confront him.
