In the midst of a jungle mission, a group of British soldiers are tasked with recording sounds to mislead the enemy about their location. As they venture deeper, they lose radio contact and instead pick up a Japanese broadcast, revealing they're mere miles from an enemy camp. The situation becomes increasingly tense, exacerbated by the cantankerous Private Bamforth and his disdain for Corporal Johnstone. When a Japanese prisoner is captured, the true nature of each soldier is exposed.
