A down-on-his-luck cameraman/director gets a chance to direct a documentary about a famous musician, John of God, in the Congo. However, John is a self-absorbed narcissist who refuses to open up, hiding a dark secret. To make matters worse, the local producer, Guy, is a fake with no experience, forcing him to come up with creative solutions to complete the shoot. The result is a hilarious comedy of errors from start to finish.
