A glamorous aviator, Virginia Allerton, deviates from her around-the-world flight to visit her brother, a US Marine, on the Pacific island of Palo Pango. However, her trip takes a turn when she becomes entangled in a gun-smuggling racket and crashes on another island. Two Marines, Thornton and Barnes, must navigate treacherous waters to rescue her, while also evading the deadly attempts of Barton's jealous native wife, Inda.
