A newly blind man, fresh out of the hospital, concocts a sinister plan to murder his unfaithful wife and frame her lover. He feigns despair over his condition, yet secretly learns to navigate his new surroundings and eventually becomes adept at moving around independently. As he sets out to carry out his revenge, he ultimately succeeds in killing his wife, but inadvertently leaves behind a crucial clue that could incriminate him. The police, led by a skeptical investigator, begin to investigate the crime, but their prime suspect is not the lover, as they believe the husband's guilt and strive to gather evidence to prove it.
