US Army Sergeant Max Young is sent to East Berlin to oversee the Soviet Union's dismantling of nuclear weapons in East Germany. He's assigned to drive Colonel Cahill, the MLM's top intelligence officer, and is ordered to conduct a reconnaissance mission around the Wursen base when radio traffic between Soviet high command and the base suddenly stops.
