Home in Wyomin'

Gene, a charismatic radio cowboy, lends a hand to his former boss, whose rodeo is on the verge of collapse.

Gene Autry returns to his hometown of Gold Ridge to help his friend's wayward son, Tex Harrison, who's struggling with a gambling and drinking problem. Gene's accompanied by a news photographer and reporter who are tasked with following him. They find themselves at the "Bar Nothing" dude ranch, where Tex gets into a fight with the reporter. Meanwhile, a fugitive Chicago racketeer is hiding out in town and is suspected of being involved in a murder that takes place during a "Frontier Days" celebration.
