Marvin Hacks, a 40-year-old man, is released from prison after 20 years and returns to his hometown of Clovis, where he is met with hostility due to a traumatic event from his past. Despite the challenges, Marvin reconnects with his terminally ill mother and develops a connection with Delta, a young woman who is unaware of his dark history. However, Delta belongs to the Flintow family, who are still seeking justice for the crime Marvin committed against their grandmother. As tensions rise, Marvin stands firm, willing to accept the consequences of his actions, no matter the cost.
