A desperate man, fired from a rocket fuel plant, straps a bomb to his body and attempts to destroy the facility. However, while on top of a fuel storage tank, he takes a family, including his own wife and son, hostage. As the situation spirals out of control, the plant manager and father of the hostages must race against time to evacuate the town and persuade the suicidal man to spare their lives.
