The movie tells the story of Jacob, a unique individual who walks with a distinctive gait due to his turned-out feet, reminiscent of Charlie Chaplin. He leaves his home in Palestine, seeking equality in Canada, where he finds a welcoming community. Jacob befriends a kind-hearted thief, a waitress who helps him find work, and a wise prophet, Khalil Gibran, who offers guidance.
