A notorious outlaw, Killer Pete, and his gang are laying siege to the western town of Headstone. Meanwhile, a new Sheriff and an easterner named Belinda Pendergast, also known as Bill, arrive in town on a stagecoach. Despite the Sheriff's inability to capture Pete, Bill discovers the outlaw's true identity and rallies the townswomen to prepare a surprise ambush when Pete and his gang return to town.
