In the Producers Releasing Corporation western, a bandit gang wreaks havoc in Monument City, a Mexican border town, specializing in claim-jumping, high-grading, and other nefarious activities. Saloon owner Barney Bronson is suspected of leading the gang, but the real mastermind is the local express agent, who betrays his employer. Sheriff Sam Dolan enlists the help of famous gunman and Marshal Trigger Tim Rand, played by Tim McCoy, to clean up the town. Trigger takes down The Mesa Kid, sent to eliminate him, and sets out to restore order to the troubled town.
