In this animated comedy, a determined Mountie named Elmer is hot on the heels of his arch-nemesis, Bugs, who is wanted dead or alive. Elmer's attempts to capture Bugs are foiled by the wily rabbit's clever tricks and disguises. Despite being handcuffed to a bomb, Bugs manages to evade capture and ultimately convinces Elmer to arrest him. However, just as all hope seems lost for Bugs, he breaks into song, transforming the Mounties and the setting into a joyful and surreal musical number.
