A ruthless oil company in New York City instructs its Mexican field manager to sabotage two independent drillers, prompting the manager to intentionally set one of his own wells ablaze in an attempt to destroy it.

In this oil-rich drama, a ruthless company tries to sabotage two independent drillers in Mexico, but their plan backfires when their own wells catch fire. The only ones who can put out the flames are Dan and Ben, who refuse the company's offer to do so due to past grievances. Instead, they seek funding from a saloon owner to restart their drilling operation. Their journey takes them to New York City, where they receive support from an old friend and Dan even gets married to a party girl, leading to a complicated situation.
