Cowhands Ross Taylor and Chito Rafferty rescue a road-construction engineer and his wife from a toll road operator and his armed henchmen. They get the couple to the construction site with the help of a supposed advocate of the new road, but uncover a connection between the toll road operator and the advocate. Ross is falsely accused of having an affair with the engineer's wife and arrested, but Chito rescues him. Together, they save the engineer from more schemes, only to be trapped in a canyon wired with dynamite by the villain's men.
