Two strangers, David Moore and Brian, embark on a perilous journey to East Africa, accompanied by the skilled guide Jack Cuortemayn, who initially refuses to lead them due to concerns about the railroad's impact on the local community. Along the way, they meet Ruth Knight, a local woman who has dedicated her life to helping her father at a medical clinic. However, their adventure takes a dramatic turn when Ruth is kidnapped by slave traders, leaving the trio to band together and launch a daring rescue mission.
