Married radio hosts Dick and Dorothy Dashton, who also support unusual causes on their popular show, "Breakfast with Dick and Dorothy," try to find a woman they met the night before who seemed to be in distress. The woman was wearing an ancient Egyptian necklace. Despite listeners also encountering her, no one knows her identity. Dick's connection to the Chicago Museum of Antiquities, where the woman was believed to be Associate Curator Mona Rankin, helps them investigate. However, they soon discover that Mona died three days prior in what was ruled a suicide. As they dig deeper, they are met with resistance and even violence, and a real murder occurs.
