Peter Bogdanovich, having directed "Targets" and "The Last Picture Show", made a documentary about John Ford in 1971. Initially, it received excellent reviews but was later withdrawn due to legal issues. In 2006, Bogdanovich revised the documentary, adding new interviews with Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, and Steven Spielberg, as well as a rare audio recording of Ford and Katharine Hepburn. The result is an entertaining tribute to John Ford, considered one of America's greatest film directors.
