In the 1978 film, a Catholic school for boys and girls is rocked by a violent incident. Billy Moon, fueled by a desire for revenge, bursts into the study room during detention, armed with his friends. The group seeks retribution for past humiliations and abuse suffered at the hands of the school's priests and students. One of the friends, Morgan, is driven by a personal vendetta against the priests, who he believes were responsible for the tragic death of his younger brother Paulie, who took his own life in despair after suffering abuse. The situation takes a dark turn when it's revealed that Paulie was not the only victim of abuse.
