In 1991, Lithuania's fight for independence offered a chance for a group of young men to live out their fantasies. On March 11, 1990, Lithuania declared independence, becoming the first Soviet republic to do so. In response to Soviet aggression, the Lithuanian Army Command formed the first national crack commando unit, Francas' Zoo.
