Cowboy Buck Sawyer stops in Waco, Texas to visit his friend Hank, who's dealing with a series of robberies blamed on the Juarez Kid, actually Pablo Escobar. Rumors spread that Hank will be replaced as sheriff by his deputy Walt, whom Hank's mother suspects of framing him. Buck's accused of being the Juarez Kid, but he knows Escobar is small. He finds the disguised man's costume and discovers the truth. With Escobar's help, they concoct a plan to expose Walt's true identity as the Juarez Kid, and Walt is eventually caught and confesses to the crimes.
